Titan updates?

Hmnn ok, I have finished the body proper and the head (fashioned it after my fave characters in WH40K,grey knights), glued it all together, which roughly forms the first major part of the titan, the rest of the major sections are of course the arms and the legs. Anyway, I estimate the titan should be finished by October, of course my schedule of projects permitting.. I'd post some pictures, if I have done the back support and the plasma engines at the back...Err yeah did I say I have finished the first major section at least 90 %? hehehe Danggg it is a monumental project to take, building one of these 'god-machines'! And to think what i'm building now is just the basic form of the titan, if the 'basic' form is done, I still have to graft on foam boards plastics, yet more boards and armor to make it appear all menacing like, more militaristic? So that means I'd reach possibly till December for this monster model to get at least 95 % done, hooo boyyyy

Been reading alot these days

Been reading alot these days, since I could not work on my WIP titan :) Finished 'Titanicus by Dan Abnett' and 'Grey Knights omnibus by Ben Knight', also Descent of Angels and now I'm about to finish 'Fallen Angels' as well.. I enjoyed Titanicus the most, though I'd only give it 4 stormbolter awards. Why? I think the book built up good steam from start to midway, but when it came to the near finish line it faltered in the action area and suddenly and painfully skewed (even halted full STOP!!!) into a condensed style summary of the story instead, I'm quite disappointed really on how it finished but nevertheless being a titan only action packed book, it's still quite a good one. I'm seeing a Dan abnett like pattern here, but im not holding it against him, seems like estimating book length and story flow is not his best strengths, hehehe. About the other books, the grey knight omnibus is a surprisingly good one, I loved it! among all of my space m...

Time for everything

In a famous book, it says there that there should be a time for everything. Time to laugh, time to cry, to be angry and on it goes.. Wouldn't it be great if life came with a manual or guide book something like that, it would tell us what to do in case of sticky situations or crises in life. But the one who made us have so much faith in us, that he gave us a combination of friends, family, financial resources, Internet, some TV exposure and even cinema, and lastly to give us a more flexible and somewhat spicy mix, he gave the mother of all gifts, freewill. There are a few moments or days where a human being would be forced to think thru all he had done, the decisions he made, the actions he took, opinions he expressed and where he stands in the present, than his own birthday. They say we should look at life as a journey and not a destination.. well i'm glad the journey has been interesting to say the least. Hopefully a better and wiser man is getting there along the journey, enj...

My attempt at making a gatling gun (more ominously called Hellstorm) out of PVC pipes: It's six barrels at 10" each, total length of the right arm weapon is around 16" (by the way, i also took the chance to boast my favorite Dan Abnett book so far, hehe--loved Titans! yeah!) I'd be back for updates next couple o days or so..

Titan updates..

Been working on the right arm weapon: A giant gatling gun type weapon aptly called, hellstorm gun/cannons. I'd post pics when finished.
