In a famous book, it says there that there should be a time for everything. Time to laugh, time to cry, to be angry and on it goes.. Wouldn't it be great if life came with a manual or guide book something like that, it would tell us what to do in case of sticky situations or crises in life. But the one who made us have so much faith in us, that he gave us a combination of friends, family, financial resources, Internet, some TV exposure and even cinema, and lastly to give us a more flexible and somewhat spicy mix, he gave the mother of all gifts, freewill. There are a few moments or days where a human being would be forced to think thru all he had done, the decisions he made, the actions he took, opinions he expressed and where he stands in the present, than his own birthday. They say we should look at life as a journey and not a destination.. well i'm glad the journey has been interesting to say the least. Hopefully a better and wiser man is getting there along the journey, enj
Why? Got this itch to create my scratch-built warhammer vehicles and stuff, so I bought six boards of thick illustration board with the intent of using them as materials for my creative itch. Let's see if I still have that childhood magic touch, hehehe What's that??? Hehehe way back when I was really young (say between 8 or ten yrs old) I used to create my own toys like tanks and planes (since my mom is really stingy, there's three of us siblings and one of her, understandable yes?) using only cardboards and shoeboxes, whatever material is available. I very much enjoyed those days my creation lasted, hehehe.. Anyway from what I have seen from forums and the like, there are alot of DIY people out there who tried and succeeded in building tanks and even titans! from materials like cardboards and plasticard (which is expensive for me and hard to come by, thus I preferred illus boards). So now I take a deep breath and plunge in my creative itch and inner child, i'd be back w
Well not like the painting stuff warhammer afficionados would want. But the hard core roller-to-the-wall-using-boysen types, hehehehe! Been painting my house lately,I don't have the faintest idea if my strokes or style is correct, but I see it's not that bad once you paint enough over some area your mistakes could be flooded over by paint! hahaha so you can't go wrong with alot of it,but the trick is never to put too much in too short a time, THAT i get easily. Well as for the miniature painting of my soon to rise Grey knight(daemonhunter) army, been waiting for most of my orders to come thru, plus I'm kind of skimping on cash as of late. You see in my eagerness to build my army,I overshoot my funds and ended up buying alot too soon, the stuff that suffered postponement is unfortunately the following: 1 foundation citadel paint set 1 grey knight terminator squad 1 Captain Stern 1 Grey knight Dreadnought 1 Lord Inquisitor Coteaz w/ retinue I would have loved buying them in
